Jonah Dross

Jonah Dross is an associate attorney at Leighton Panoff Law whose practice focuses on catastrophic injury litigation on behalf of injured plaintiffs. Mr. Dross began working with the firm as a law clerk before becoming an associate.

Information

During law school, Mr. Dross clerked with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he conducted legal research, drafted motions, and assisted prosecutors with case preparation. He also completed a judicial internship with Judge Alexander Bokor of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal, gaining insight into appellate practice and judicial decision-making.
Before attending law school, Mr. Dross worked as a legislative correspondent in the United States House of Representatives. That experience deepened his appreciation for public service, a commitment he carries into his practice representing individuals who have suffered life-altering injuries as a result of others’ negligence and wrongdoing.

Education

Mr. Dross earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2026. During law school, he served as Senior President of the Federalist Society and was a member of the Society of Bar and Gavel, an honor society focused on community service. He also completed the HOPE Pro Bono Service Challenge and was recognized for completing more than 200 hours of pro bono legal work.
