$1,136,000 Settlement – Inadequate Security Case: Sexual Assault in Mall (Wisconsin) starstarstarstarstar

A sexual assault on a young woman working at a store cost our client her emotional health.

John Elliott Leighton was retained by a Wisconsin woman who was sexually assaulted in a factory outlet mall.  Mr. Leighton discovered through aggressive litigation that there were many instances of crimes and warnings to the management company, as well as cutbacks in security which resulted in this crime.  After litigation in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the case was settled for $1,136,000 prior to trial. L.F. v. McArthur Glen.

Our client was able to get the help she needed to regain her self esteem, and the ability to have that needed care for the rest of her life.
