$1,160,000 verdict on behalf of parents of teenager electrocuted by defectively wired boat lift on west coast of Florida. The teenage boy had been swimming in a canal when he climbed onto an electric boat lift and turned it on.  Because it was not wired properly, it electrocuted him. John Elliott Leighton represented the boy’s father. Est of S v. Multiple parties.
