$450,000 settlement – Improper injection in arm causing neurologic injury

John Elliott Leighton represented a man who went to the emergency room and was given an injection.  The nurse gave the injection in the wrong place, causing a very large needle to strike the bone in his arm and ultimately causing an infection that affected the patient’s nerves.  The client operated a karate school, and the injury restricted the use of his arm.  Mr. Leighton negotiated a $450,000 settlement.
