$862,000 settlement for construction accident causing burns from hot tar

A construction working was on the job site of a new townhouse development in Miami.  Roofers negligently failed to secure hot tar on the roof.  Our client was inside the unfinished building and working in an atrium when boiling hot tar was spilled on him, causing serious burns.  Mr. Leighton obtained a settlement prior to trial of $862,000.
