Confidential Settlement – death of woman due to cardiac procedure error starstarstarstarstar

A woman who was undergoing a pericardiocentesis for a cardiac tamponade was killed when the physician punctured her heart during the procedure.  John Elliott Leighton represented the woman’s estate, and obtained a confidential settlement on behalf of her survivors.  Estate of S. v. Dr. Doe.
