John Leighton re-elected chairman of negligent security organization for trial lawyers

Leighton Panoff Law’s John Leighton was re-elected Chairman of the American Association (AAJ) for Justice’s Inadequate Security Litigation Group at their annual convention in Boston.  Mr. Leighton continues to chair this group, which focuses on educating and networking among the trial lawyers who specialize in negligent security and violent crime civil cases.  The 20,000-member AAJ meets for its annual convention each July, with a winter convention every mid-year.  Mr. Leighton has lectured to and taught lawyers in over a dozen states.  As the author of the leading textbook on negligent security cases, Litigating Premises Security Cases (Thomson West 2006), Mr. Leighton is able to share his expertise and provide suggestions on how best to evaluate, investigate, litigate and try these complex cases.

Mr. Leighton was just recently selected for the 11th straight year for The Best Lawyers in America.
