$1,125,000 settlement – motorcyclist hit in roadway

Our client was on a motorcycle late at night traveling at high speed.  As he went to exit the highway, a car changed lanes into him, knocking him from his motorcycle.  He was thrown to the pavement and struck by an oncoming car, suffering serious leg injuries. In an instant, his life was changed.  He went from being an active athlete, a mountain biker, father and businessman to someone dependent on others.  He underwent surgeries and rehabilitation.

Leighton Law’s John Elliott Leighton filed suit and obtained a policy limits confidential settlement of $1,125,000. The recovery provides this client the financial security to start a business and obtain the needed medical care for his injuries.
