Confidential Settlement – Therapist has sex with patient

There are several events that should never happen.  One of them is a psychotherapist having sex with a patient.  It is unethical and illegal.

After her psychotherapist had sex with her, a woman began to have further psychological and emotional problems. This client hired John Leighton to bring a case against the therapist and the clinic which employed him.  A confidential settlement was obtained prior to trial.

This problem is more widespread that most believe.  There are unethical professionals in every field. But when a therapist violates that boundary there are lifelong damages that occur.
