Attorneys John Leighton And Max Panoff Named 2018 Super Lawyers

We are proud to announce that attorneys John Leighton and Max Panoff have been selected as Florida Super Lawyers for 2018. This is Mr. Leighton’s 13th consecutive year on the prestigious Super Lawyers list and his ninth consecutive year in the Top 100.

Max Panoff received the prestigious title of Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2018.

Super Lawyers uses a patented, multi-phase selection process involving independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations to select outstanding attorneys. Those with the highest point totals then receive recognition as “Super Lawyers.”

The Super Lawyers eligible candidates enter the eligibility pool after identification by the Super Lawyers Research Team and upon meeting other criteria. Combined with the independent research, peer nominations and evaluations, Super Lawyer candidates undergo evaluation on “12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.”

Upon final selection, there are only 2.5 percent of lawyers selected to the annual Rising Stars and just five percent of lawyers selected as Super Lawyers. The selections, made on an annual and state-by-state basis, as well as Washington, D.C., seek to serve as an aid for members of the public to select a lawyer.

Only those lawyers with highest point totals are recognized in the Florida Super Lawyers Top Lists.

Mr. Leighton is the recipient of many awards and honors including receiving a 10.0 “Superb” rating from AVVO.com and an A-V Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers In America for more than 12 years, is considered a “Top Lawyer” in the South Florida Legal Guide, and is named “Legal Elite” by Florida Trends and Orlando Style magazines.

Mr. Leighton continues to obtain some of the largest verdicts and settlements, including in high profile cases, both locally and around the nation.

Mr. Panoff successfully obtained millions of dollars in recoveries for clients and has a reputation as a fierce advocate in the courtroom. He authored several publications and received numerous recent honors and awards.

Mr. Panoff, chosen as a National Trial Lawyers Association “Top 40 Under 40,” also received honors from the Dade County Bar Association as a “Rising Super Star” in January 2018, as well as the recent honor of Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2018.
