$265,000 settlement for trip and fall on steps

Our client was walking out of an office building at night.  As she walked there were steps in front of her that were the same color was the flat walkway.  She could not perceive that there was a drop, and when she reached the first step she fell, fracturing her leg.  She required a surgery to repair the fracture.  Max Panoff successfully demonstrated that the premises represented a hazardous condition, both in its design and lack of lighting.  The case was settled confidentially prior to trial for $265,000.
