Confidential Settlement – Woman raped in car in school parking lot

John Leighton represented a woman who was attending trade school at night.  When she went to her car in the parking lot, she was grabbed, pushed into the car, and sexually assaulted.  Mr. Leighton obtained a confidential settlement for the client.

Schools require reasonable security to protect their students, regardless of their age.  This is especially true at night, when more crime takes place and there are fewer eyes watching out.  This case presented an example of how a complete lack of security resulted in a sexual assault of a student.
