Anna C. Morales is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on tort litigation including wrongful death, medical malpractice, birth injuries, negligent security, nursing home negligence, premises liability and falls, construction site accidents, product liability cases, motor vehicle and trucking accidents and other negligence cases. 

Prior to joining Leighton Law, Ms. Morales represented borrowers in complex contested residential and commercial foreclosures. Ms. Morales successfully litigated numerous cases against the consumer financial industry’s giants, including lenders, loan servicers and debt collectors in both state and federal court. 

Anna Morales received her bachelor’s degree in in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. During her undergraduate career, she worked alongside the State Attorney’s Office as a Court Counselor for Pre-trial Diversion Services evaluating and placing criminal offenders in specialized programs.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree, she moved to North Carolina where she worked as a family law, personal injury and social security disability paralegal for three years. Her experience and love for the legal field inspired her to further enhance her career and attend law school.

In 2013, she received her Juris Doctorate’s Degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University College of Law. Mrs. Morales completed several internships during law school that significantly broadened and diversified her as a lawyer.

Ms. Morales has interned  at the State Attorney’s Office’s Death Penalty and Child Sex Crimes division, where she performed extensive research and trial preparation, and was part of the prosecution’s legal team in a death penalty trial. 

At Leighton Law, Ms. Morales seeks to continue to emphasize the importance to bring justice for those who have been harmed through zealous, skillful, and ethical representation.
