Terrorism as an Inadequate Security Case: Leighton Speaks.

07-13-2010

John Leighton presented “Terrorism as an Inadequate Security Case” at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Annual Convention in Vancouver, July 13.  His speech was part of the AAJ’s Inadequate Security Litigation Group CLE Program, which carried program theme of “Security Risks Across Borders and at Home.”  Mr. Leighton Chairs the Inadequate Security Litigation Group of the AAJ.

The Mission of the American Association for Justice is to promote a fair and effective justice system—and to support the work of attorneys in their efforts to ensure that any person who is injured by the misconduct or negligence of others can obtain justice in America’s courtrooms, even when taking on the most powerful interests.

For more than 60 years, the American Association for Justice, also known as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA®), has supported plaintiff trial lawyers—as the collective voice of the trial bar on Capitol Hill and in courthouses across the nation and by providing exclusive services designed for trial lawyers.
