$145,000 settlement – child cut by metal spike in field

A 9 year-old boy was playing in a field next to the school he attended.  A piece of metal, which originally secured ropes holding a tree, was protruding in the grass.  As the boy was running, the metal caught him and cut his leg.  He sustained a scar to his knee requiring a skin graft.  Leighton Law, P.A. negotiated a settlement of $145,000 on behalf of this young man.
